The BHS student award was launched in 2002 to promote the study of hydrology and raise awareness of the Society at undergraduate level. Prizes are awarded on the achievement, relevance, originality and presentation of submitted final-year dissertations addressing scientific and applied issues in hydrology, judged by a panel drawn from the main committee.
