New water research issues

water@leeds, the water research centre at the University of Leeds, held a one-off workshop to identify the top policy-relevant water research questions on 11th November 2009. Over 700 questions were submitted prior to the workshop via an open web survey - many of which resulted from circulation to the BHS mailbase list. The workshop identified a short-list of 94 questions which were available at a survey website for responses to help identify the questions of greatest priority / relevance to UK policy.
Participants were asked to select the top 10 questions from the short-list to help identify those of greatest policy importance. The survey closed on 28th May 2010. All responses will be detailed in a multi-authored paper for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
