Programme and papers
The meeting demonstrated some practical applications of recent research in the new and fast-field of hydroecology and illustrated their utility for river basin planning.
It facilitated a dialogue between academics, water managers, consultants and stakeholders on datasets and models, methodologies, scales of enquiry, process understanding, the inter-relationships between morphology, habitat, ecology, hydrology, and encouraged discussion on river basin planning and practical applications.
