Preface
This meeting was the tenth BHS National Hydrology Symposium and was held at the University of Exeter where the preliminary discussions on the foundation the British Hydrological Society were held 25 years previously. The meeting was organised into seven major themes, reflecting the key issues facing both academic and operational hydrologists today, the larger number of papers in some areas reflecting their topicality.
