New BHS Awards


2014 Student Award winners announced at BHS2014 Symposium

Natalie Greenwell from Newcastle University, seen here with BHS President Nigel Goody, was awarded the 2014 BHS Student Award for her work on the Experimental Analysis of a Debris Control Devices.

Runners up were Joon Ho from University College London for her modelling of the hydrological impacts of climate change on the Tocantins-Araguaia river basin and David Sproston from Lancaster University for his study quantifying channel storage characteristics of four Welsh streams.

The awards were announced at the BHS AGM which took place during the biennial BHS National Hydrology Symposium, hosted this year in the Geography Dept at Birmingham University.
